FATHER-OF-TWO Matthew Kesic slapped his ex-partner before breaching a court order – by hiding under a trampoline at an address he was banned from visiting.
The 26-year-old was given a conditional caution by police after slapping Stacey Wright to the face.
Two days later he was handed a non-molestation order at Stoke-on-Trent County Court which banned him from going to an address in Foxfield Way, Blurton.

DRUG-DEALER Gemma Brown supplied four different substances from a squat to repay a debt, a court was told.
The 29-year-old mum said she felt under pressure to deal heroin, crack cocaine, cannabis and monkey dust to clear the debt accrued by someone else.
Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard how police raided the Hanley squat and found a stash of drugs worth £1,280.

CASH and jewellery were stolen during a burglary at a property in Anson Road, Meir.
Two vehicles were also broken into on the same night in nearby Applewood Crescent and Uttoxeter Road.
Police say there are investigating the crimes, which all took place on Thursday night, and urged residents to be on their guard and make sure their property is secure.
Among the items stolen from the vehicles were a sat nav, laptop, CDs and personal items.

DEFENDANT Ben Butler has pleaded guilty to false imprisonment.
The 32-year-old admitted committing the offence on August 4.
He appeared at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court yesterday via video-link.
Butler also pleaded guilty to two charges of affray, which also relate to August 4.
He denied two counts of robbery, and his pleas were accepted by the Crown Prosecution Service.
The case was adjourned to allow the Probation Service to prepare a report on the defendant.

DRUNK Daniel Allen assaulted his partner and then later sent her threatening text messages after they split up.
The 32-year-old also left offensive voicemails for his ex Cherie Poole's father, threatening to kill him.

TEENAGER Marcus Proctor has his sights set on a career in the emergency services – after turning his life around following a run-in with the law.
The 15-year-old set fire to a shop last year which led to Marcus being hit with an anti-social behaviour order.

POLICE uncovered a cannabis factory in the heart of the city centre yesterday – after responding to concerns the premises was being burgled.

STAFFORDSHIRE Police are asking the public to help them find the owners of a piece of equipment found in Stoke-on-Trent.
The item is described as a metal box containing a specialised drug educational kit with false samples of each drug.
It was found in Lightwood Road, Longton, on Wednesday, November 25.
The equipment, believed to be worth hundreds of pounds, has not been reported lost or stolen, but must belong to somebody.

ARMED police arrested three men from Stoke-on-Trent after a 'domestic' incident in Bucknall.
Officers stopped the vehicle the men were travelling in on Woolliscroft Road, Bucknall, just before 7.30pm on Saturday evening.
The arrests came after a man was assaulted at a Woodhead Road address, although he did not require hospital treatment.

POLICE are hunting a thief who went into a shop and stole more than £60 worth of scratch cards.The offender headed into Werrington's Co-op store on Washerwall Lane at 6pm on December 3. LONGTON: Drug-user Damon Dark smoked cannabis to manage the pain of a bone disease while he awaited an operation, a court was told.
