A man was arrested shortly after midnight today following reports of a burglary in the Meir. Officers followed a vehicle which failed to stop and drove off at high speeds until coming to a halt in Lansbury Grove.
A 32-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent was arrested on suspicion of burglary and motoring offences.
